    Unless our children grow up with good books and evolve a taste for quality reading, the future would remain bleak. It is sad that because of so many diversions—visual media, mass entertainment and only exam-centric learning—the culture of reading reference books and good literature has declined. As a concerned parent/teacher I feel that we all have to take it seriously, and try our best to cultivate the interest in reading through book clubs, story-telling activities, and even exhibitions that make it possible for children to see and feel hard copies of books— their illustrations, stories and contents
