Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away at HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai earlier this morning. His death has brought about a flood of messages from industry veterans and people from the walks of life who have remembered the gigantic body of work that Rishi Kapoor left behind and said that his death marks a void that can never be filled in the industry.
Rishi Kapoor was known to be an iconic romantic hero and his films were loved by all. He had worked in more than 90 films in his career and also became particularly known for his talents in singing and dancing apart from acting.
Kapoor had begun acting as a teenager and received the National Film Award for his debut role as a child artist in his father’s 1970 film ‘Mera Naam Joker.’
Kapoor went on to revive his career over the past one decade and he took up many supporting characters in Bollywood films.
