  • The coronavirus pandemic has been taking a toll in the country as we become the country with the second largest rate of infections in the world.  The coronavirus death toll has now reached 1,12,161 and the virus has claimed 895 lives in a matter of just twenty four hours.
  • Worldwide, the coronavirus numbers have crossed in 38.6M mark and the toll has risen to 1.09M according to Johns Hopkins University. And more than 26.7M people have recovered from COVID-19 so far.

He said that as president he has to meet people despite the pandemic. Donald Trump had recently tested COVID-19 positive.
  • The Delhi Government told the Delhi High Court that the policy decisions directing 33 big private hospitals to reserve 80% of ICU beds for COVID-19 patients was taken as a temporary measure to mitigate the crisis.
