Delhi’s pollution level has become a matter of concern for the longest time. The enhancement of vehicles, the cutting down of trees, the release of effluents by industries, medical waste and a series of other factors have perpetually led to the decline in Delhi’s air quality. The pollution that has increased beyond tolerable extents had decreased but it continued to remain in the ‘severe’ category, besides the fact that authorities expressed hope that the air quality would improve perpetually due to dispersion of pollutants.

The pollution level that had gone to intolerable extents and had become “severe plus” is slowly reducing because of dispersion of pollutants as stated by the Centre-run System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research institute

The data release by the institution named Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the PM10 level (presence of particles with diameter less than 10 mm) was recorded at 522 in Delhi-NCR and 529 in Delhi on June 16.

The PM2.5 level (presence of particles with diameter less than 2.5 mm) that deteriorated from “very poor” to “severe” became “very poor”. It was 124 in Delhi-NCR and Delhi today.

Meanwhile construction endeavors in the city remained ineffective because it was ordered that no construction would happen to regulate the pollution standards within the capital of Delhi. The civil construction activities will remain stopped in the city till tomorrow. The articulation of well-known environmentalists and weather forecast specialists states that the air quality may become better with days.
