As the government is engaged in making sure that all the last minute preparations to welcome American President Donald Trump are finished on time, in a latest development from Delhi it has been reported that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia may not be allowed to accompany First Lady Melania Trump for a government school visit.
The First Lady Melania Trump is scheduled to make a brief visit to India in the coming week. According to sources from the Delhi government, the names of Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia have been dropped from the school event which is to be attended by Melania Trump on Tuesday.
The sources also claimed that they both were earlier supposed to attend he event since the school comes under the Delhi government. They had also been asked to give Melania a tour of the Schoo; and talk to her about their public education experiment that focuses on mindfulness exercises and good moral lessons.
Manish Sisodia has alleged that it is the Centre which is responsible for dropping their names from the list of invitees.
Melania Trump is going to make a visit to the Delhi school classroom on Tuesday and attend a ‘happiness class’, one of the flagship programs of the Delhi government in the educations sector that aims to help children feel less stressed and mediate and discuss things that they find disturbing. She is expected to spend one hour at the state run government school.
The exact name of the school where Melania will pay a visit has not bee disclosed yet but several schools are being decorated and prepared for the purpose. Melania Trump’s visit to India will take simultaneously when US President Donald Trump will be meeting with PM Narendra Modi. Both Melania Trump and Donal Trump will fly to India on Monday and will stay here for two days. Donald Trump’s first visit will be in Ahmedabad where a major public event-“Namaste Trump” will be held, this will be followed by bilateral talks in Delhi.
