Masked Men Attack Students and Teachers at JNU
Massive violence has broken out inside the JNU campus, students and teachers have been brutally attacked by goons wearing masks.
Violence has broken out inside the Jawaharlal Nehru University campus. JNUSU President Aishe Ghosh has got severely injured in the attack, where she like many other students inside the campus was beaten up by “goons wearing masks.”
According to a statement she gave to the ANI, Aishe Ghosh said, “I have been brutally attacked by goons wearing masks. I have been bleeding. I was brutally beaten up.”
Students allege that even professors who were trying to protect the students have also been beaten up. Over the last seventy days, the university has been seeing a standoff between the students and the administration over a hike in the hostel fees. Yesterday, the administration alleged that students has been ransacking property in the administrative block. Students of the JNUSU alleged that right wing goons were responsible for the violence.
