Today in Focus: Regional Parties Come Together in Jammu and Kashmir

The regional political parties of Jammu and Kashmir have decided to come together to make a significant shift in the Valley. Last year, the Centre had divided the erstwhile state into two union territories using special constitutional rights.After an all party meeting they said that they will fight collectedly to restore the special status of J&K guaranteed by the Indian Constitution under Article 370. Mehbooba Mufti who is still under detention under the Public Safety Act, in her tweet has praised her long-time rival Farooq Abdullah for ensuring political unity in Kashmir to fight for its rights.The longest ever block down of internet services in Jammu and Kashmir has meet criticism over the world.

Closing of Inter-State Borders Disturbs Supply Chains  : Many states across the country have been sealing and resealing their borders in an attempt to curb and control the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and now the MHA has taken over to request all states to stop any curbs on the movement of people and goods.
