Ayodhya to Witness Historic Ram Janmabhoomi Pujan on August 5

The Ram Jam Bhoomi Pujan on August 5 in Ayodhya will be a low key event keeping the coronavirus pandemic in mind.

The coronavirus pandemic has become the centre of attention as the Centre and the states are busy in their respective efforts to control and contain the spread of the coronavirus infection, but amidst this medical emergency preparations are in full-swing for the historic ceremony that is coming up in Ayodhya. 

PM Narendra Modi will be attending the ‘bhoomi pujan’ ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya on August 5. Keeping the pandemic in mind and the impossibility of welcoming large crowds for the function, the government has decided to keep the occasion quite low key. 

No chief ministers have been invited for the program and only UP CM Yogi Adityanath will be participating in the ceremony according to the protocol. 

Some of the other important quests who will be attending this special ceremony at Ayodhya will be RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Yoga guru Baba Ramdev, former chief minister and governor Kalyan Singh, former deputy prime minister L.K. Advani, former union minister Murali Manohar Joshi among others. 

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah will also participate in the ceremony. Apart from this members of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust will be present.

The function will only see the total attendance of 200 guests keeping the coronavirus pandemic in mind.
