Ratha Jatra (gods chariot) is a Hindu festival celebrated in the month of July every year. The festival consists of a long procession wherein devotees pull an intricately decorated chariot with deities Jagannath, Balabhadra, Subhadra and the Sudarshan Chakra. This chariot journey consists of elaborate celebrations.
