The coronavirus pandemic has been taking a serious turn in India and the cases are multiplying at an unprecedented rate. In a latest update from the state of Madhya Pradesh, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has tested positive for coronavirus.
The total number of cases in India is now 13,36,861 and the number of new cases that have been added to the overall tally is 48,916.
In India more than 8.49 lakh people have been cured from the coronavirus so far.
Globally, the coronavirus pandemic has brought the total count to 1,56,72,841 and the toll has crossed 6.38 lakh according to the latest report by the Johns Hopkins University.
