Opposition in Jharkhand Comes Up with Unique Seat- Sharing Formula Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections

The grand alliance of the Opposition in the state of Jharkhand has come up with a unique seat-sharing formula ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.   The seat-sharing ahead of the Lok Sabha is a collective plan by the Opposition to contest the ruling regime.

The Jharkhand Opposition alliance announced on Sunday that they will come up with a unique sharing of seats arrangement for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The Opposition alliance in Jharkhand has decided on a unique seat sharing plan amongst the parties of the alliance.

The seat sharing plan will be implemented among the RJD, the Congress, the JMM and the JVM (Prajatantrik) for the 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state of Jharkhand ahead of the elections.

It has been decided by the alliance in Jharkhand that, the Congress will contest in seven seats; the JMM will contest in four seats and Jharkahnd Vikas Morcha will contest on two.

The Mahagathbandan has come up with the decision of leaving the Palamau seat to the RJD. According to the seat sharing plan that has got consensus from all the parties, the Congress is going to contest from Ranchi, Lokhardaga, Khunti, Singhbhum, Dhanbad, Hazaribag, Chatra and the JMM is going to fight from Dhumka, Rajmahal, Giridh and Jamshedpur. Godda and Koderma will see candidates fighting from JVM.

The alliance believes that the RJD would accept the Palamau seat to unseat the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections.

It has also been agreed by the alliance that the greater alliance would be working under the leadership of the Congress while the leadership would fight the assembly elections under the leadership of the JMM working President Hemant Soren.

The Lok Sabha elections which will unfold within the state of Jharkhand in four phases will begin from April 29th, 2019.
