The country is seeing widespread protests against the contentious CAA but amidst the ongoing turmoil, we are also witnessing another important national event unfolding itself. Speaking ahead of the Parliament’s Budget Session, PM Modi said that a strong foundation would be laid for this decade in the present session of the Parliament and hoped that there would be some sound debating in both the houses of the Parliament. He was seeking ahead of the onset of the Budget Session.
He asserted that he wanted and looked forward to a vast and qualitative discussion on financial matters in both the Look Sabha as well as the Rajya Sabha. PM Narendra Modi said, “This session should be focussed mainly on economic issues. I want there to be good debates on these issues in both houses. Our government’s identity has been of empowering Dalits, women and those who face exploitation. We want to continue these efforts. These sessions should be focussed mainly on economic issues.
