Well-known poet Rahat Indori has recently passed away after suffering from a massive cardia arrest on Tuesday. The poet had been admitted to a hospital in Indore after testing positive for coronavirus. The poet has died at the age of seventy years. Rahat Indori has suffered from three heart attacks due to which he finally died in the evening hours of Tuesday.
Poet Rahat Indori had been admitted to the SAIMS coronavirus care hospital after he had complained of breathlessness and chest pain. He suffered from bilateral pneumonia and about 50% of his lungs had been highly impacted.
Rahat Indori was a much celebrated poet of the Urdu language and had gained many accolades for his poetic sensibilities and sharp humour. He also worked as a lyricist in many Bollywood films. Indori was a popular face across Urdu circuits in India and abroad.
