The dharna by the AAP enters its fifth day without a resolution. The opposition leaders support Kejriwal.

The issues between the AAP government and Lt Governor Anil Baijal are yet  be solved  as the sit-in protest by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and three of his Cabinet colleagues -Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, PWD Minister Satyendar Jain, and Labour Minister Gopal Rai  enters the fifth day on Friday.

The AAP convenor, has written to the Prime Minister pleading him to do something and end the agitation of the IAS officers,

On Thursday, AAP launched a candle-march to protest against Baijal over Delhi’s statehood issue. AAP got supported by CPI(M) leader Brinda Karat.

The opposition parties like SP, RJD have supported the dharna led by Kejriwal. Leaders are expected to join AAP’s planned march to the PM’s residence Sunday

Kejriwal was disillusioned as he did not get a response from Prime Minster Narendra Modi and hoped a solution would be found.

 In his letter to Modi, Kejriwal listed a number of instances to make his case that the protests by IAS officers — following the alleged assault on Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash impacted administrative operations.
